GRATITUDE AND FORGIVENESS
A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE, REFLECTION, AND FORGIVENESS
As I look back on this journey of more than eighteen years, I do so with humility and deep gratitude. Although the on-foot mission formally began in 2016, its roots were planted much earlier through years of preparation, planning, learning, and quiet perseverance. This path was never walked alone. Every step was supported, guided, and strengthened by countless individuals and institutions who believed in the power of education, purpose, and service.
I offer my sincere gratitude to my nation, India, for shaping my identity and giving meaning to my mission. I thank the principals of my schools and colleges, chancellors, teachers, professors, and mentors who guided me academically and morally.
I am grateful to my school friends, college friends, and well-wishers who stood by me during formative years and challenging moments. I extend my respect to political leaders, spiritual guides, and thinkers who offered direction, encouragement, and perspective when it was most needed.
My heartfelt thanks go to my students, past and present, who trusted me as a teacher and stood by me even during uncertain phases of life. Their belief gave me strength during moments of doubt, especially while I was deeply involved in training and educational outreach. I am equally thankful to known and unknown individuals who supported my on-foot mission in ways both visible and invisible, from villagers and common citizens to media professionals from print and digital platforms.
I acknowledge with deep appreciation the grammar experts, editors, proofreaders, and fellow authors who guided my writing, corrected my errors, and helped refine my work with honesty and care. Their contributions strengthened not only my books but also my discipline as a learner and educator. I also thank my relatives and family members, whose patience, understanding, and silent sacrifices made it possible for me to continue this mission despite challenges and uncertainties.
This journey was not free from difficulties. There were ups and downs, misunderstandings, and moments of emotional strain. In that spirit of honesty, I wish to offer a sincere and unconditional apology to anyone I may have hurt, knowingly or unknowingly. Some wounds may not be easily forgiven, and some misunderstandings may remain unresolved, yet I believe that seeking forgiveness is an essential act of growth and humanity. If my words, actions, or decisions caused pain at any point, I ask for your forgiveness with humility and respect.
What stands out most in this journey is trust. When circumstances were uncertain and paths unclear, people believed in me and stood by me. That trust is the foundation on which I stand today. This message is not merely a thank you, but a reminder that no mission succeeds through individual effort alone. It succeeds through collective belief, shared sacrifice, and the willingness to forgive and move forward.
If this journey inspires reflection, healing, or renewed faith in the goodness of people, then this message has served its purpose. I carry every lesson, every kindness, and every correction forward with gratitude, responsibility, and hope for a more understanding and compassionate world.
