ON FOOT MISSION

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Poem: "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost (1923).

ON FOOT FOR PEACE, PURPOSE, AND EDUCATION

On July 1st, 2016, I began a solitary on foot Peace Mission from Hyderabad to Delhi, covering more than 4,500 kilometers across the living heart of India. This journey was not measured by distance alone, but by human connection. Step by step, I met students in schools, youth in colleges and universities, teachers in rural and urban classrooms, scholars, villagers, and ordinary citizens whose dreams were far greater than their circumstances. Every conversation, every shared moment, revealed a nation quietly striving to learn, grow, and rise.

As I walked through bustling cities, quiet towns, sunlit fields, and long dusty roads, one truth became unmistakably clear. India's real strength does not lie merely in its economy or infrastructure, but in its people, in their resilience, curiosity, and deep hunger for knowledge. At the same time, I witnessed a silent and painful gap, the lack of access to quality English education, a bridge that could connect millions to confidence, opportunity, and global participation.

This journey was not only a walk for peace, but a walk for purpose. It transformed my understanding of education as the truest form of freedom. I realized that when a learner gains language, they gain voice, dignity, and direction. Whether in a village or a city, every individual deserves the chance to master the language that opens doors to the world. This mission continues to guide my work as an educator, grammar author, and contributor to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, with a commitment to ensure that learning reaches those who are willing to walk the path, even when the road is long.
